Overview materials
Some projects produced generic guidance materials which cover a range of issues relating to OER development, release and use. These are useful resources for people wanting a general introduction to OER and some of the issues that need to be considered around OER release.
- OER for beginners: an introduction is an excellent page produced by the MEDEV Subject Centre which provides links to resources for healthcare education
- STEM OER Guidance Wiki - This wiki constitutes a collection of guidance documentation on all aspects of Open Educational Resources (OER), produced by the STEM project teams from a number of Higher Education Academy/JISC OER pilot projects, and is based on the teams' combined experiences working with practising academics to explore the issues surrounding OER production and release.
